Beaver Contracting was the principal contractor on the Shotover Country Development stages 1 - 15.

Located on flat river terraces between the Kawarau and Shotover rivers and connecting with the suburb of Lake Hayes Estate, the Shotover Country residential development included approximately 900 mixed density dwellings, a primary school for 850 students as well as an early childcare centre, recreational reserves, cycle and walking pathways.
